DS Project Information

Re: DS Project Information

Ok, I was able to conjure up a very primitive image (supposedly) depicting a futuristic city being destroyed with some people in the bottom of the screen looking at its destruction, perhaps have an iconic building destroyed as well? (Like Empire State Building) Also in my picture robots are supposed to be the ones destroying the city, sort of the old cliche on technology taking over the world; however now that I think about I wouldn't really enjoy seeing another cliche like that.... perhaps have the robots fix the city?

EDIT: Another idea I like is to have modeled a town that is on a grassy green hill, and it looks all nice and futuristic, but as you look over the town you see a glass dome covering it, and you can faintly make out a black earth in the dark sky of space, kind of a bittersweet scenario there.

This is the picture to the first idea:

I have a hard time understanding your great artistic power/Paint Skills. What does the image say, haha?

Anyway, about that green hill village thing.. I have something I've been working on during my bus-rides to school every morning for a week now. I'll post a picture of it as soon as I get some houses in there so see if that's what you mean. ^^

Ah, yes I should elaborate just in-case some one does not understand my extremely detailed sketch of the scene:

The image I made was sort of like a "no hope" type of thing where there are two survivors in the midst of a burning civilization that is being taken over by technology.

However I've decided I like the second idea of mine better, where the grassy town is on an island is space surrounded by a glassdome, out looking a night sky/blue sky? And there is a destroyed earth in the background.

Also I'd love to see your image, djm

I'll just make some minor tweaks and texture-changes before I will upload the image :)

I've been feeling like sketching lately, maybe I can draw some ideas of my own sometime soon and with everyone's ideas out there, we can start mashing them all together.

I haven't really been doing much Blender for a while now ( ), but once we have renders out, I'd be happy to do compositing and special effects inside of After Effects!
