Update the mobile

Update the mobile

Postby djm » February 12th, 2015, 3:39 pm

Hey Irascible, this one is aimed straight at you!! ;)

I got a comment on Facebook from a "Rick" who downloaded my shader, but he was not too pleased with the phone layout of the website. Here is his comment:

Apparently the buttons when you look at images are not really shown properly when on a Phone, or handheld device.
Is there any way you can tweak this quick and easy?

Thanks in advance!

In my defense, I've never had a smartphone to test the site out on until I got my recent job, so what currently exists was all a guess on my part.

Any idea which buttons he was specifically talking about though? The site doesn't seem too bad on Safari, Chrome, and Opera Mini on my iPhone except for maybe the social media links under one's avatar. I could see about making those bigger when I get back to doing the updates I was working on before I went on hiatus.

he was talking about the menu sliders and how it didnt react at first. Also that he coukd not download anything without having to relog twice (which was most likely an error on his end somehow) . That is all I know.

I think I just experienced what he was talking about, but I have no clue how to fix it. Maybe as I get back to updating everything, I can give a little bit more focus on mobile friendliness now that I have a mobile phone to test it out on.
