Particle quick tip

Particle quick tip

Postby brektzar » December 19th, 2011, 5:11 pm

Ive read and heard that alot of people have trouble setting up basic simulations with, for example, smoke.

This can be done really easy, in fact its pretty much automayed ;)

Press the "SPACEBAR"(for the search window to pop up) and type in "QUICK".
You will have four options to choose from:
Fluid
Smoke
Explode
Fur

Choose anyone of those and then check in the panel to the left(if its not there press "T" to open it)
There will be a few settings there to get you started, the rest is done in the physics panel and the particles panel(some settings in the materials can be changed aswell for very different results)

Ok! That was the quick tip xD Hope it helps!
