n00b question #1

n00b question #1

Postby hieronymous » June 13th, 2009, 9:40 pm

i'm sure this really is a dumb question, but i haven't been able to find the answer yet:

1) start a new scene
2) NUM0 to look through the camera

3) um... how do i then move, pan, rotate the camera while i'm still looking through it?

i know i can go into some other view mode and move the camera around manually, but i want to manipulate it on the fly while i'm looking through it. i'm sure there must be a way (there is in every other package i can think of) as it's a fairly fundamental requirement, but blowed if i can work out how you do it

I think what you are looking for is fly mode, right? You can do that by going into camera view and pressing Shift-F. Then you can see all of the controls in the window's menu bar.
