Brektzars school projects

Postby brektzar » October 19th, 2012, 3:33 pm

I am going to school, its basically so i get a feel for tyhis kind of school before deciding if i wanna join for real, so im only in for three months.

So, i chose to use Blender in a specially designed class just for me. My teacher told me to do 5 scenes and 5 characters, one for each scene. These characters and scenes need to be post-apocalyptic or very close to it.

Ill show a few WIPs im working on in this thread so i dont mix them up with my other thread.. ^^

First off is a desert scene, its in its very early stages and needs lots of fixing.

Ok, a dagger, pretty much done, needs some touchups on the textures(not mine) and the bump needs to be reduced.

A saber, my thought here is that its placed in a ruined museum, the character will "steal" it.

Those look great! I especially like the knife. I wish I had a class where I could use Blender for something. That would be the best.

Yeah its awesome, but theres one really bad thing about it... i have to use a MAC while im at school..... I have no laptop anymore and i refuse to move my PC anywhere :P So im stuck using MAC... Blender is slower on a MAC, in every aspect..

Drop you hatin' and cut the "windows rule" attitude.

With that said; These look good indeed. Can't wait to see the finished scenes (4 was it?) :)

I am working on a female model for this project, im not that good at topology and anatomy so it is what it is :P Im guessing i have some retopo to do when its done.

This render is just for fun, i got bored so i did this..

This render shows the crappy texture which is a MAJOR WIP! :P
It also shows that the head isnt even complete :P I kinda skipped it and went on to texturing xD

They are both rendered in Cycles.
