Update....

Not much done, ive been tinkering with the water and i think im getting closer to what i want ^^ Still far away though...

The trees and rocks are not my models. I am just using those as placeholders untill i make my own, the final render will be made entirely by me. If the final render ever comes i cannot say xD

Hey guys, ive been inactive for awhile if you hadnt noticed :P I have no idea why though....
Work was one part of it though, that much i do know :P

But im back and brought a new WIP with me(as always, i have no final renders xD)


This is two versions of the nvidia logo, none is done and im playing with materials and nodes to get it right. These are rendered in Cycles, an awesome render engine, but i would like to have more freedom with the materials...(NOTE: These are rendered with just 1000 passes so imperfections are really common..all over the images ^^!)

Well, I've been looking for a new desktop background, and I'm an Nvidia fanboy... Think I might have found it! Whenever you finish it, I'll probably use it for a few months, and show some green pride. :thumbup:

Nvidia is the ONLY way to go, AMD\ATi can suck it ^^ Thats not the way its meant to be played....

Ill be working on them some more soon, thinking of adding a metallic "ground" texture instead of the "cracks"... Might fit better with the logo :P

BTW, which one did you like best? :P Im leaning towards the second one which may mean less work will be done to the first one, unless you guys want me to work more on the second aswell.

The reflection on the A (Picture number 2) looks messed up where the "legs" connects through the stripe.

If you don't know what I mean, I'll show you when I get back home.

I cant do much about the reflections unless i change the whole materrial, but they are acurate.
