So, has anyone heard of Cycles? :P Its a new renderer for blender using either CPU or GPU.
It is currently in development, and its looking promising ^^

Yeah, I watched the video on BlenderCookie a little while ago. Very cool. I am quite excited to see a stable version in Blender at some point in the future.

I have yet to try the current version though, but I have been planning on doing it sometime soon.

I took a testdrive about 20 minutes ago, its really fast!

This image here rendered in about 10-15 minutes, it took about 1 second per pass, and i used 500 passes.

This is JUST a test, not an actual project :P I didnt put any time at all into materials.
