Alpha shadows?

Alpha shadows?

Postby djdustman87 » June 18th, 2011, 3:22 am

Hi again, there are some little quirks I haven't been able to figure out yet, here and there. I have some plants that I made in Blender. The leaves are textures. My issue when a shadow is case, it doesn't cast through the texture, it casts through the plane. I know it has something to do with the alpha, any hints?

If you select the object that the shadow is landing on and give it a material (if it doesn't already have one) there is a setting called Receive Transparent in the shadow section. Check that and it should work.
