making videos using 3D models

making videos using 3D models

Postby simbanya » May 7th, 2014, 11:16 pm

I was considering making videos using 3D models from Blender, or wherever. If blenders animations software is good, let me know, haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure if its any good. I hear that Poser is pretty good, but I have not the money to purchase it, and where I currently live. I also cannot torrent it for obvious reasons.

If you want confirmation that Blenders animation suite is good, google big buck bunny, tears of steel, elephants dream or sintel. ;)

Trust me, its good :)

Just to add to Brek's post: There's also the fact that you can just download Blender and try it out for as long as you want. It's open source, so no money required. Then you can make your own opinion about it. I don't think there is any reason not to if you are truly serious about finding the best tool and even more so since you are looking for something that is little to no cost.
