xampp woes :/

xampp woes :/

well, i have xampp installed as my local host i guess is how i would say it :D but, i forgot my security password and username for it :( so i was wondering if anyone knew how to reset it. thank you!
P.S heres a picture of the login screen, its not for mysql, its just for my localhost, I.E i cant load my localhost page without it.

Uninstall+Reinstall? I'm not sure if there's another method, I'll look into it though.

hmmmm ok, i dont know if there is anything there that i may need though, dont know if its worth it, but it is annoying :D

In the directory that XAMPP is installed in, delete \security\xampp.users and \htdocs\users\.htaccess

I believe the default XAMPP directory on Windows is C:\XAMPP, so you would go to C:\XAMPP\security\ and delete xampp.users, then go to C:\XAMPP\users\ and delete .htaccess

You should then be able to access the server without needing a password.

Hmm... I'll look around, but if you don't have any data that you need to recover, I'd suggest just uninstalling XAMPP and reinstalling it.
