Progamming Aptitude

Progamming Aptitude

Postby Renix » May 19th, 2014, 8:10 pm

I'm wondering how well everybody here is at programming. Should I do programming tutorials? I'd most likely stick to Python because of Blender3D, but I'm already doing tutorials for Java as well.
I'd also like to know who would be useful for a project I'm doing on the side.

Lots of web development here. PHP and JavaScript (including jQuery and AngularJS). I've done a few minor Python scripts here and there in Blender, but I've wanted to fully learn it for a long time now. I think the most Python I did was when seeing if it would be possible to do live streaming with the built in screencaster in Blender (the answer is no) and seeing if we could log into a site from directly within Blender (the answer is yes).

Learned Java in college, never used it outside of classwork.

I know Python and Java as well, but I think some programming tutorials would be nice for DS-traffic as long as it's aimed towards Blender 3D.
