My own Hello (and using models)

My own Hello (and using models)

Postby Bodhi » October 9th, 2014, 2:51 pm

Hello. I'm into 3D art and programming. I've only used Blender (and still learning).

The site looks very cool. Also I have a question and I searched for the answer but couldn't find it.

My question is how to download some of the models to use... I thought when I signed up I could download a low-poly model. Do I have to post more or something to get enough points to use the models?

Welcome!

Nope, you just need an account. There shouldn't be any other restrictions. Which model were you trying to download? I made a major update to the site recently, so it's probably just a filename that didn't get updated properly or a minor bug somewhere.

The wood crate specifically. It's about the middle of the page under Browse>Models.

Under downloads, there just isn't a link or anything.

Ah, alrighty. It was just a small mistake with some of the filenames for the files. It should be working now though!

Thank you for letting me know! :D

First attempt at 3D. It's a spatial puzzle game that is very action-oriented. I already have a version I developed in 2D that was sort of halfway between prototype and full game.
