repairing my pc

i have some problem with my pc.
i was playing a game and i turned my computer to sleep. a few minutes later the power went down. now on turning my pc the os doesn't boot. the pc restarts itself and displays the startup messages. i need some help guys!

Have you tried starting it in fail-safe mode?
Press F8 during boot and you should get the choice.
